An Award

Whilst I was sick in bed with the flu, the very talented and generous Elaine from A Technophobes Blog gave me this truly wonderful award. This flu hit me for six, it knocked me right off my feet and put me in bed for a couple of days, all I could do was drag myself to the bathroom and back to bed. I'm still not much better, but at least I'm out of bed and able to eat very small amounts of food. I haven't made a card since and I'm dying to get back as I have a few images just waiting for a bit of colour! Anyway, back to my wonderful award .....

There are a couple of conditions for the award

You have been TAGGED and want to participate? Then create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image. You should also blog the persons link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose 3 - 5 favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then each blogger will inform you that they have been tagged.

Dear bloggers:The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light, so I would ask you not to blog fellow bloggers that already have 3,000 followers. As always, the hardest part is to pick who to pass this on to, there are so many bloggers I could give it to, so.......

Sarah from Where Art Happens

Linda from The Funkie Junkie

Chelsea from Crafting Life's Pieces

Deirdre from Colour and Ink

Wendy from Wendy Made and all things crafty

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to sit long enough to make a card.

Buttons galore!

I love buttons, I have a large collection different sizes, colours and shapes, so why don't I use them more often????? Infact why don't I use more of my older stash instead of buying more????? From now on I'm going to use the stash that I already have and not buy any new (unless I really, really need it!). Anyway, back to buttons, as you can see on my card I used a few. I followed the sketch from Truly Scrumptious with the optional extra of 'Dreaming of Summer' (I can always dream of summer and fingers crossed it will be a little better than the last one we had). I've been back for a week now, and I've been busy making a few male cards. I enjoyed making them, but I can't wait to get back to some girly ones (I've been shopping at LOTV again and I'm waiting for another order to arrive ssshhhhh don't tell DH!). My dad is recovering well after his triple heart by-pass, that's what I was up to over in the UK, trying to look after both my parents. I must say, dad is taking really good care of himself and doing what he's told, just wish I could say the same about my mum *roll eyes* she won't ever change, and I suppose that's why soo many people love her.
Anyway enough waffle!, this card I made using the sketch over at Stamp with Fun. I changed a couple of things, because I didn't look at the sketch when I was sticking everything down DUH!

Dutch Dare Challenge

I've been playing around with my new stamps (well they aren't that new anymore) Frame It from Waltzingmouse Stamps and I must say, I love the clean and simple look and it's really easy with this set. Dutch Dare Card Challenge is 'Clean and Simple' and my card ticks the box. Believe it or not, but the card is white, it's just really difficult to take decent pictures with the dull, gloomy weather we've been having here.
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Copics, frosted lace Stickles
