Sketch Saturday

I can't believe I'm still blogging (fingers crossed May will be a good blogging month too!!).  The weather is all over the place, today has been like the middle of summer (warm and sunny!), and it's been great being able to walk around the farm without putting loads of wet gear on, especially as I'm in and out looking at Miss Milly (my heifer), waiting for her to calve.  She's overdue and I've been having many sleepless nights waiting .......

Enough waffle, I want to show you a card that I made for Sketch Saturday

Paper: First Edition Paper spring feast
Ink: Memento

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I know I'm too late with this challenge, but I've only just been able to get into blogger! My internet connection is going really slow these past few weeks (if it goes any slower it will be going backwards in time LOL!). Anyway, I made a card for my nan (her birthday is later this week) and as I was looking through my list of challenge blogs, I thought this challenge would fit the bill - Button it! Check out Papertake Weekly later for their new challenge. I love using H2os to colour in, they are so easy to use (but I still need more colours). Here is a close up of the image - but you can't really see the shimmer. I used an old sketch from Sketch Saturday too (one that I haven't played with before), so I'm chuffed about that! Paper: BasicGrey, Two Scoops Stamp: Sarah Kay Ink: StazOn jet black, Versacolor petal pink and Bazzinks typhoon Accessories: H2os, BasicGrey two scoops buttons, Prima quick pick and unknow flower, Dovecraft brad, Nestabilites, computer printed sentiment, lace.
