I wanted to make some quick and easy cards today and I wanted them to be bright and cheerful, so what better place to look than Pink Petticoat. I think these little bees are adorable.

Anniversary card for husband
It was our anniversary the other day and yep I did make a card for him and he got it on the day ha ha! I really didn't know what type of card I wanted to make, but I found this gorgeous stamp Roses by Impression Obsession hidden away at the back of my stamp box and as I haven't used it before I knew this was the stamp. It's a biggie 5.75" so it's brilliant for backgrounds.
Stamps: IC cover a card roses, Waltzingmouse Stamps sweethearts
Ink: Distress Inks tattered rose, vintage photo and brushed corduroy
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Spellbinders labels 14, ribbon, paper roses, tattered angels glimmer mist latte and pearls on wire.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Fab n' Funky - no designer paper
Truly Scrumptious - distressing and die cuts / punches
Creative Inspiration - anything goes

Buttons galore!
I love buttons, I have a large collection different sizes, colours and shapes, so why don't I use them more often????? Infact why don't I use more of my older stash instead of buying more????? From now on I'm going to use the stash that I already have and not buy any new (unless I really, really need it!).
Anyway, back to buttons, as you can see on my card I used a few. I followed the sketch from Truly Scrumptious with the optional extra of 'Dreaming of Summer' (I can always dream of summer and fingers crossed it will be a little better than the last one we had).
Delightful challenges this week is buttons, a brand spanking new challenge Do You Stack Up? is Cute as a Button and Paper Sundaes challenge is Circles - covered a few challenges with my buttons, I should use them more often LOL!
Paper: BasicGrey kioshi paper pad
Stamp: Sugar Nellie daisy, Waltzingmouse Stamps frame it
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Copics, BasicGrey kioshi buttons and ribbon
Thanks for looking.
