I'm getting there ....

I'm slowly catching up making cards, maybe if I stayed off the computer for longer I might catch up quicker LOL! The other day I had a box of gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, I just love their flowers, so I decided to use them instead of looking at them 'cause they look very pretty in a large box container. I've used stickles to add abit of glitter to the flowers and around the image, but the photos don't pick that up.
Again, I've used my LOTV Rosie Posy stamp and my DCWV paper pad.
I've entered my card into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew - challenge 50 sketch
Papertake Weekly - Shiny, Sparkly and Special
Paper: DCWV Citrus stack
Stamp: LOTV Rosie Posy
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Copics, nesties, Cuttlebug, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Martha Stewart leaf punch, Frosted lace stickles.
Thanks for looking.

I know I'm too late with this challenge, but I've only just been able to get into blogger! My internet connection is going really slow these past few weeks (if it goes any slower it will be going backwards in time LOL!). Anyway, I made a card for my nan (her birthday is later this week) and as I was looking through my list of challenge blogs, I thought this challenge would fit the bill - Button it! Check out Papertake Weekly later for their new challenge. I love using H2os to colour in, they are so easy to use (but I still need more colours). Here is a close up of the image - but you can't really see the shimmer. I used an old sketch from Sketch Saturday too (one that I haven't played with before), so I'm chuffed about that! Papertake Weekly Challenge and Cute Card Thursday #12

The challenge on Papertake Weekly is 'To die for!' is simply to use die cuts or punched shapes on your projects! So nice and easy - go grab your dies and lets see your creations!! Also on Cute Card Thursday, the challenge is Patterned Paper, so the card I made fits both challenges. This is a first for me playing this challenge blog, and I hope it's not the last ;) The papers are We R Memory Keepers, Hippo collection. I cut a few flowers and attached them with various brads. The stamped image is Baby Millie made by Sugar Nellie which I bought from Funky Kits.
