Is spring finally around the corner?

I really hope so, things are getting a little tough here on the farm, food is getting very scarce.  Can't grumble too much, at least it's dry and the sun has his hat on.

This card is spring like and I love the stamp, it's big and cute!  I coloured her in with distress inks and loved getting back into 'painting'.

Buttons galore!

I love buttons, I have a large collection different sizes, colours and shapes, so why don't I use them more often????? Infact why don't I use more of my older stash instead of buying more????? From now on I'm going to use the stash that I already have and not buy any new (unless I really, really need it!). Anyway, back to buttons, as you can see on my card I used a few. I followed the sketch from Truly Scrumptious with the optional extra of 'Dreaming of Summer' (I can always dream of summer and fingers crossed it will be a little better than the last one we had). Delightful challenges this week is buttons, a brand spanking new challenge Do You Stack Up? is Cute as a Button and Paper Sundaes challenge is Circles - covered a few challenges with my buttons, I should use them more often LOL! A touch of spring

Woohooo, I can't believe it, spring is here and the fields have just turned a little greener so fingers crossed we'll have grass for the cattle soon. I'm sure they're just dying to get out of the smelly shed and run around the fields. It's really funny to watch them when they first get out, even the big fat cows run, jump and kick their back legs out. There's quite a few challenges with the theme of 'spring', and as I had to make a card for a friend I decided to play along with that theme. Everybody Art Challenge #63

Happy Halloween :) Well we (myself and Martin) did have plans to go out this evening to a party, but when I took my dog, Bear out for a walk a little while ago, he got so scared 'cause some people are setting off fireworks! I don't mind them, but poor Bear doesn't like them one bit! So, Bear is in here with me munching on his food. Don't know what he's going to be like later when he goes outside to bed, now that's going to be fun and games!!! Sketch and Stash Challenge #16

I haven't been crafting for a while, so that's why I haven't been blogging. Mainly I think it's because Martin has been off work sick for the past couple of months and that seems to have dried up my mojo. Oh well, fingers crossed he'll be going back next month LOL! Anyway, back to why I'm blogging. I decided to join in with a challenge blog to find my mojo and I played along with Sketch and Stash, mainly as I've got loads of new goodies and none of which I've played with. I have used one of my new stamps from Sugar Nellie - Bumble Bee designed by Suzanne Woolcott (I just love her designs). I also used my new BasicGrey pad Wisteria. This is the wonderful sketch over at Cutie Sunday for this week. As always, I'm running late making and sending cards out, so this is a very quick card that I made. After I stuck down the image I realised that I didn't put the band on the card across the middle DOH! Oh well, I like the way it's turned out. I'm going to try and do some simple cards for a while as I'm enjoying the white space.
