Crackled teddy

With this card I played with some crackle paint, as I wanted a different look to what I normally do.  I must learn to become more patient waiting for the paint to crack, as I used my heat gun and it began to bubble in places, hey ho I'll remember for the next time.

Stamps: Teddy stamp from Rubbadubbadoo, Waltzingmouse Stamps text-it and say it loud
Cardstock: Core'dinations
Accessories: Cuttlebug, nesties, distress inks antique linen and brushed corduroy, distress crackle paint rock candy and wonderful metal corners from Nanny Maggie

I'm entering my cards into the following challenges this week:

Paperminutes Challenge #78

I've been crafting again YAY! I'm glad I'm getting back into it and maybe this is a good omen - maybe Martin might go back to work soon and then I can get back into my routine. I made this card using the sketch over at Paperminutes (a challenge blog that I haven't played along with for ages!). It's a great sketch and I knew exactly what stamp I was going to play with Penny Black Embrace. As I've had this stamp for far too long without using it myself I thought it was about time to get it out. Stamp: Penny Black embrace, SU! Oval all Paper: Brenda Walton chelsea pad Ink: Memento tuxedo black Accessories: Copics, prima flowers, rectangle nestabilities, cuttlebug, sunflowers, ice stickles crystal ice, SU! oval and scallop punches. Thanks for looking.

Paperminutes Challenge #24

What a wash out again today. And there's me thinking it's the middle of summer! The winter flood across the road from us is rising - nearly 4 months early. I just hope the winter is a dry one! Martin has gone back to work today after his annual fortnight holiday, and it's great to get back into my routine AND crafting. This week over on Paperminutes is this sketch I needed a 'get well card' for my nan as she is feeling a little unwell. As I can't get to see her I thought I'd send her a card instead. To be honest she just wants the envelope with the airmail sticker!!!! Stamp: Third Coast Stamps, Paciente Muerto Paper: BasicGrey, Euphoria Accessories: Versafine ink, Prima Quick picks and various other flowers, Stickles, computer printed sentiment.

Paperminutes Challenge #14

This is the sketch challenge this week on Paperminutes. As I finally received my gorgeous new Magnolia stamps (thanks Royal Mail!!!!!) from Sassy Crafts, I wanted to use one of my new stamps, so I decided to rotate the sketch so I could ;)

For the background I used weave background stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms. For the main image I used Summer Tilda, coloured her in with watercolour pencils, added a couple of Prima Got Flowers and attached them with a couple of Dovecraft brads. Then finally added green dotty ribbon.

Thanks for looking.

Paperminutes Challenge #13

I'm on a roll today, it must be the lovely weather keeping me in doors - I have loads to do in the garden LOL. Paperminutes sketch this week is another great one.
This was a very quick card for me, and a bit of a cheat too! I used a Penny Black Stickeroo for the image and just added a few flowers, simple as that!
Thanks for looking.

Paperminutes Challenge #12

This is the sketch for this weeks challenge on Paperminutes. And while I was making another card this morning, I spotted some gorgeous paper which would do nicely for this challenge. Again it's from the Gypsy range and I added some gorgeous Prima quick pick blossoms.

Paperminutes Challenge #11

On Paperminutes challenge blog this week they have a great sketch and thankfully I'm just in time to do this challenge - leaving it till the last moment again!!
I've used Chatterbox paper, the Cottage collection which I love and wish I'd bought more 'cause it's double sided and both sides are gorgeous. I coloured in my Magnolia stamp (from Sassy Crafts, and Emma has a delivery tomorrow of new stamps which I can't wait to get my little mits on) with water colour pencils and added a touch of Stickles on the wings.
