Sketch Saturday

is a new challenge blog, so pop along and have a look at Sketch Saturday. If you love working from sketches or if you need some inspiration you'll love this blog. This is the first sketch. I used one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps Lola with Flowers which can be purchased from Funky Kits. I coloured her in with watercolour pencils - I really need to get better ones and a wider range of colours. The gorgeous papers are Basic Grey, Boxer and they are scrummy, I don't do them justice. The paper and brads can be bought from Sassy Crafts. The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts.

Paperminutes Challenge #13

I'm on a roll today, it must be the lovely weather keeping me in doors - I have loads to do in the garden LOL. Paperminutes sketch this week is another great one.
This was a very quick card for me, and a bit of a cheat too! I used a Penny Black Stickeroo for the image and just added a few flowers, simple as that!
Thanks for looking.

Funky Fairys Challenge #20

A great challenge blog is Funky Fairys, and this week they have a great sketch challenge. As it's a gorgeous day outside I thought I'd use my flower stamp to bring a bit of colour indoors. As you can tell, I rotated the sketch around, 'cause I wanted to use the blessing stamp. The backing paper is Bitty Scrap Pad, Whipper Snapper flower pot stamp and My Sentiments Exactly stamp for the blessing. I also used 3 gorgeous Prima Quick Pick flowers with added Hero Arts gemstones to the middle. Thanks for looking.

Paperminutes Challenge #11

On Paperminutes challenge blog this week they have a great sketch and thankfully I'm just in time to do this challenge - leaving it till the last moment again!!
I've used Chatterbox paper, the Cottage collection which I love and wish I'd bought more 'cause it's double sided and both sides are gorgeous. I coloured in my Magnolia stamp (from Sassy Crafts, and Emma has a delivery tomorrow of new stamps which I can't wait to get my little mits on) with water colour pencils and added a touch of Stickles on the wings.

Thank God it's Friday

No don't worry, I haven't gone mad LOL, it's just another new challenge blog I've found. It's probably been around for a little while, but I've only just found it. Anyway, on Thank God it's Friday blog the challenge is all about Ribbons ! Please create a card (or whatever you would like to prepare with ribbons) by using minimum one stamp and Ribbons - just how much, how colorful, how long or short you want.
I used one of my favorite stamps at the moment from Third Coast Stamps (which you can get from Sassy Crafts). The backing paper is from English Paper Company.

Funky Fairys Challenge #13

I think this is the first time I've joined in with Funky Fairys challenge blog, so I hope they like what I've done LOL. Anyway this weeks challenge is Bling - as I love anything sparkly - the more bling the better. Anyway the challenge this week is to use Bling anywhere on your project. So I dug out my Hero Arts crystal gemstones and had a play. The stamps and card stock are Stampin Up! which I bought from Fiona, check out her blog if you need any SU! products. Here is my card, you can't see the flowers properly, but they sparkle too as I used Stickles icicle (which has to be my favorite out of them all).
Thanks for looking.
