Lili of the Valley

I love this image from Lili of the Valley, the cat is adorable. My cat is poorly tonight, there's something wrong with his leg, so I'm going to try and take him to the vets tomorrow. When I say he's my cat, he's not really. He just turned up one day and decided to stay, and he's still very wild, so I think it's going to be fun and games tomorrow!! Sunny friday

I've been playing again with my lovely C.C.Design stamps, I just find them such a joy to colour. And as I found an unused paper pad (and to be honest I haven't got a clue how long I've had it either, but I'm sure it's not too long as it wasn't at the bottom of the pile!) I'm back

from a long weekend away which turned into nearly two and half weeks away. Oh the joys of Mother Nature. I didn't mind too much as I was staying with my parents in the UK, and I woke to the sound of seagulls and the smell of the sea. I was caught up with the 'no fly zone' with the ash cloud that paralized northern europe.

Then on 20th my nan passed away very peacefully. We knew she didn't have long, but none the less, it was still painful to watch her drift away. So rest in peace Nana, you're with Grampa now.

So all this means I'm very late with making birthday cards, and I'm slowly catching up. This is the first card I made with my new Lili of the Valley stamps.

Cutie Sunday #41

This is the wonderful sketch over at Cutie Sunday for this week. As always, I'm running late making and sending cards out, so this is a very quick card that I made. After I stuck down the image I realised that I didn't put the band on the card across the middle DOH! Oh well, I like the way it's turned out. I'm going to try and do some simple cards for a while as I'm enjoying the white space.
