Friday Sketchers #49

I went to visit my parents last week in the UK and now that I'm back home I've realised I haven't made or posted any birthday cards, so if any of you are reading this, I'm really sorry and the cards will be in the post very shortly. This card that I made for Friday Sketchers is a belated birthday card (I think I should just make belated ones 'cause I always forget, no matter how many times and how many different lists I make!!!) It's another great sketch over on Friday Sketchers. Paper: BasicGrey urban prairie Stamp: Sugar Nellie a good book by Elisabeth Bell available at Funky Kits Accessories: watercolour pencils, various prima flowers, ribbon, silk rose flowers, brads. Friday Sketchers #7

The weeks are flying by, and I nearly ran out of time with this challenge and I do love sketches. My mojo left me and I've been having a hard time just sitting still long enough to craft. Plus this stupid cold is annoying and isn't helping! Anyway this is this weeks sketch for Friday Sketchers
Paper: DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack from Sassy Crafts
Stamp: Magnolia Tilda with flower from Sassy Crafts
Coloured Tilda in with watercolour pencils, added various flowers and attached to the card with a brad. And I found this gorgeous ribbon in my stash.

Friday Sketchers #5

This is Kim's sketch over on Friday Sketchers. It's a great sketch and I was dying to try using it over the weekend, but with life getting in the way I couldn't. I'm glad I had some time today to play.

The papers are Basic Grey, Boxer and the stamp is from Magnolia these products can be bought at Sassy Crafts. I coloured Cool Edwin in with watercolour pencils. I added a few Boxer brads and I doodled around the edge of the card to make a border.

Thanks for looking.

Friday Sketchers #4

This is the first time for me to join in with Friday Sketchers. The DT work is amazing, puts my card to shame, but I'm learning and I get loads of inspiration from this blog.
The backing papers are from K & Co, chelsea pad and I used my Cuttlebug stylized flowers just to give a bit more interest. The stamp is from the Sweet Art Ebony collection by Elisabeth Bell which I bought from Funky Kits. I coloured the image in with watercolour pencils. Added a Prima quick pick flower with the centre piece stamped using Stampin Up circle of friendship stamp.
