Papertake Weekly Challenge

I know I'm too late with this challenge, but I've only just been able to get into blogger! My internet connection is going really slow these past few weeks (if it goes any slower it will be going backwards in time LOL!). Anyway, I made a card for my nan (her birthday is later this week) and as I was looking through my list of challenge blogs, I thought this challenge would fit the bill - Button it! Check out Papertake Weekly later for their new challenge. I love using H2os to colour in, they are so easy to use (but I still need more colours). Here is a close up of the image - but you can't really see the shimmer. I used an old sketch from Sketch Saturday too (one that I haven't played with before), so I'm chuffed about that! Sketch Saturday #10

I don't know what's the matter with me the last few weeks, I haven't made a card - well that's a lie, I made a birthday card for my husband last friday night (his birthday was on saturday). I had to make myself sit down and make it! I'll post a picture of it later. Today I had to force myself again to sit still long enough to make a card, even though I'm not entirely happy, I'm glad I made something. I played along with Sketch Saturday and Jo has designed another great sketch. Paper: BasicGrey, Lilykate Stamps: BasicGrey, Insignia Ink: StazOn jet black, Versafine imperial purple and Bazzinks wisteria Accessories: Sakura pens and corner adoner punch.

The weeks are flying by, and I nearly ran out of time with this challenge and I do love sketches. My mojo left me and I've been having a hard time just sitting still long enough to craft. Plus this stupid cold is annoying and isn't helping! Anyway this is this weeks sketch for Friday Sketchers
Paper: DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies stack from Sassy Crafts
Stamp: Magnolia Tilda with flower from Sassy Crafts
Coloured Tilda in with watercolour pencils, added various flowers and attached to the card with a brad. And I found this gorgeous ribbon in my stash.

Paperminutes Challenge #11

On Paperminutes challenge blog this week they have a great sketch and thankfully I'm just in time to do this challenge - leaving it till the last moment again!!
I've used Chatterbox paper, the Cottage collection which I love and wish I'd bought more 'cause it's double sided and both sides are gorgeous. I coloured in my Magnolia stamp (from Sassy Crafts, and Emma has a delivery tomorrow of new stamps which I can't wait to get my little mits on) with water colour pencils and added a touch of Stickles on the wings.
