Paperminutes Challenge #78

I've been crafting again YAY! I'm glad I'm getting back into it and maybe this is a good omen - maybe Martin might go back to work soon and then I can get back into my routine. I made this card using the sketch over at Paperminutes (a challenge blog that I haven't played along with for ages!). It's a great sketch and I knew exactly what stamp I was going to play with Penny Black Embrace. As I've had this stamp for far too long without using it myself I thought it was about time to get it out. Stamp: Penny Black embrace, SU! Oval all Paper: Brenda Walton chelsea pad Ink: Memento tuxedo black Accessories: Copics, prima flowers, rectangle nestabilities, cuttlebug, sunflowers, ice stickles crystal ice, SU! oval and scallop punches. Thanks for looking.

Penny Black wedding card

Last friday we went to a wonderful wedding of two friends of ours, Siobhán and Seamús - and it's about time they got married! The weather was ok, I'm just thankful that it stayed dry. Afterwards we went to the reception. The Cromleach Lodge is in the middle of nowhere up a mountain, but the views took my breath away! Me and Martin are going back there when (if) the weather improves. Paper: BasicGrey Blush Stamp: Penny Black - Long Kiss! Inks: Stazon jet black, Distress ink tattered rose Accessories: H2os, Nestabilities, lace, peel off, various flowers and a button.

Sketch Saturday #2

This is the sketch for this week on Sketch Saturday. And as I've mentioned before I love sketches. I tried to keep to the sketch as much as possible, but I'm sure it won't happen that often LOL.

The paper is K & Co Patchwork paper pad, the image is a Penny Black Stickeroo. I embossed the card with Traffic Jam Cuttlebug folder and cut the ovals with my Cricut.

Thanks for looking.

Fingers crossed I won't be rushing round like a woman possessed this Christmas LOL.

Paperminutes Challenge #13

I'm on a roll today, it must be the lovely weather keeping me in doors - I have loads to do in the garden LOL. Paperminutes sketch this week is another great one.
This was a very quick card for me, and a bit of a cheat too! I used a Penny Black Stickeroo for the image and just added a few flowers, simple as that!
Thanks for looking.

Anniversary card

This is a card that I made for my husband for our anniversary (which is today!). I don't really like it, but it's all I can manage at the moment, this cold is not helping matters!!!!!. I'm going to try and do some challenges later. I've really missed doing them while I was away on holiday, and now that I've ordered more Magnolia stamps from Sassy Crafts I haven't got any excuses not to craft LOL.
I used my Cricut to cut the hearts, Basic Grey rub-ons for the wording on the heart, and Basic Grey two scoops paper. The Happy Anniversary is a stamp by Penny Black.
Thanks for looking.

I'm back

on line wooooohoooooo!. I really thought I was going to loose my mind altogether. We haven't had a phone line since the early hours of Sunday morning, they joys of living in the countryside. No broadband and very dodgy phone lines LOL. Oh well, can't cry now, 'cause I'm back and I even managed to do a challenge.
The challenge is set by Stamping Fairies , Sunday Sketch fun #13, this is my take on it. I used my Cricut to cut the ovals, used my watercolour pencils to colour in the Penny Black stamp.
