Penny Black wedding card

Last friday we went to a wonderful wedding of two friends of ours, Siobhán and Seamús - and it's about time they got married! The weather was ok, I'm just thankful that it stayed dry. Afterwards we went to the reception. The Cromleach Lodge is in the middle of nowhere up a mountain, but the views took my breath away! Papertake Weekly Challenge

I know I'm too late with this challenge, but I've only just been able to get into blogger! My internet connection is going really slow these past few weeks (if it goes any slower it will be going backwards in time LOL!). Anyway, I made a card for my nan (her birthday is later this week) and as I was looking through my list of challenge blogs, I thought this challenge would fit the bill - Button it! Check out Papertake Weekly later for their new challenge. I love using H2os to colour in, they are so easy to use (but I still need more colours). Here is a close up of the image - but you can't really see the shimmer. I used an old sketch from Sketch Saturday too (one that I haven't played with before), so I'm chuffed about that! Arty Girlz Challenge #29

This week on Arty Girlz challenge blog is BLACK & WHITE as usual you choose the format so you could make a card, do a scrapbooking layout Altered Art, anything its up to you.

I used a cow and wording stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms, used my nestibilities to frame the cow added a touch of ribbon and that's it. A really quick and simple card.
