Papertake Weekly Challenge

I know I'm too late with this challenge, but I've only just been able to get into blogger! My internet connection is going really slow these past few weeks (if it goes any slower it will be going backwards in time LOL!). Anyway, I made a card for my nan (her birthday is later this week) and as I was looking through my list of challenge blogs, I thought this challenge would fit the bill - Button it! Check out Papertake Weekly later for their new challenge. I love using H2os to colour in, they are so easy to use (but I still need more colours). Here is a close up of the image - but you can't really see the shimmer. I used an old sketch from Sketch Saturday too (one that I haven't played with before), so I'm chuffed about that! Paper: BasicGrey, Two Scoops Stamp: Sarah Kay Ink: StazOn jet black, Versacolor petal pink and Bazzinks typhoon Accessories: H2os, BasicGrey two scoops buttons, Prima quick pick and unknow flower, Dovecraft brad, Nestabilites, computer printed sentiment, lace. Thanks for looking.

Paperminutes Challenge #24

What a wash out again today. And there's me thinking it's the middle of summer! The winter flood across the road from us is rising - nearly 4 months early. I just hope the winter is a dry one! Martin has gone back to work today after his annual fortnight holiday, and it's great to get back into my routine AND crafting. This week over on Paperminutes is this sketch I needed a 'get well card' for my nan as she is feeling a little unwell. As I can't get to see her I thought I'd send her a card instead. To be honest she just wants the envelope with the airmail sticker!!!! Stamp: Third Coast Stamps, Paciente Muerto Paper: BasicGrey, Euphoria Accessories: Versafine ink, Prima Quick picks and various other flowers, Stickles, computer printed sentiment.

Sketch Saturday #10

I don't know what's the matter with me the last few weeks, I haven't made a card - well that's a lie, I made a birthday card for my husband last friday night (his birthday was on saturday). I had to make myself sit down and make it! I'll post a picture of it later. Today I had to force myself again to sit still long enough to make a card, even though I'm not entirely happy, I'm glad I made something. I played along with Sketch Saturday and Jo has designed another great sketch. Paper: BasicGrey, Lilykate Stamps: BasicGrey, Insignia Ink: StazOn jet black, Versafine imperial purple and Bazzinks wisteria Accessories: Sakura pens and corner adoner punch.
