Little Red Wagon

I have finally uwsed one of my new sets from Waltzinghouse Stamps (I hang my head in shame, 'cause I've had this set for around 2 months and haven't even opened the package!!!). I love this set Pic-Nic Patterns, and can't understand why I have played with it before. I've also been playing with my Verve Stamps - Serenity. Both of these companies are great to mix and match and the quality of both, well you can't beat them!
As this week over at Little Red Wagon the challenge was 'Nestabilities' I decided to play along.

Everybody Art Challenge #98

The weather here has been terrible - gale force winds, rain and cold, so I'm really thankful that today I can see some sun yipppeeee (plus I can get some washing out on the line!). So with the weather putting a downer on things I had a play in my room and decided to bring a little colour into my life with this card. I love these new papers (that I've had for a number of weeks and haven't dared to let my scissors see them) DeLovely by Cosmo Cricket. I followed the sketch by Everybody Art Challenge Paper: Cosmo Cricket DeLovely mini deck Stamp: LOTV Rosie Posy Ink: Memento Accessories: Copics, Cuttlebug, Nesties, ribbon, chalk and gems. Look what I won ...

The very talented Linda over at The Funky Junkie was celebrating 30,000 hits on her blog a little while back. I entered along with sooo many other people all hoping and praying. And whilst I was away visiting my parents, I logged onto my dad's computer and spotted my name on her blog. I screamed and ran and told my mum and dad (just like a little kid!), my mum said "isn't that lovely", my dad said "What's the catch?!".
Well I just wanted to thank Linda on here and to spread the talent and love of Linda - The Funky Junkie :) , so a very big THANK YOU Linda, and thanks for your inspiration.

My latest babies

I've been taking loads of photos of my babies (and mammies) lately, but I haven't put any on here for ages, so I decided to post some of my latest babies.
This is Pepper, he was born early last week, but the photo was taken on wednesday.
Here's Pepper and his mammy PegLeg. We gave her that name 'cause when she walks slowly she always kicks out her back leg in a funny way! Strange cow, but she is gorgeous.
This is our newest, Mighty Mouse with his mammy Doris (she's mean looking, but she is really quiet). Mighty Mouse was born on tuesday night and this photo was taken wednesday morning. He was born outside in the field, but we had terrible rain, so Martin put them both inside the shed to keep dry.

It's really muggy today

Well I'm just not used to this hot and muggy weather. We have no sun but the temperature is up to 25c and it's going to get hotter for the weekend eeekkkk! I've stayed in doors today to finish off a card that I started yesterday, my mind is all over the place as I received some very bad, sad news yesterday. As you can tell I've been playing again with my LOTV stamps, I just can't seem to put them down at the moment. I'm playing along with these challenges: Lili of the Valley - challenge 53 sketch Ooh-la-la-Creations - challenge 54 bright and cheerful A Spoon Full of Sugar - challenge 104 cute and girly Papertake Weekly - say it with flowers BasicGrey Challenges - week 20 punch it Paper: BasicGrey kioshi paper pad Stamp: Lili of the Valley fairies on tiptoe, SU! oval all Ink: Memento Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Swiss Dots embossing folder, Cuttlebug, SU! oval punch, SU! scallop border punches, BasicGrey kioshi buttons and brads, prima flowers, frosted lace stickles and cotton twine. I'm getting there ....

I'm slowly catching up making cards, maybe if I stayed off the computer for longer I might catch up quicker LOL! The other day I had a box of gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, I just love their flowers, so I decided to use them instead of looking at them 'cause they look very pretty in a large box container. I've used stickles to add abit of glitter to the flowers and around the image, but the photos don't pick that up.
Again, I've used my LOTV Rosie Posy stamp and my DCWV paper pad.
I've entered my card into the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew - challenge 50 sketch
Papertake Weekly - Shiny, Sparkly and Special
Paper: DCWV Citrus stack
Stamp: LOTV Rosie Posy
Ink: Memento
Accessories: Copics, nesties, Cuttlebug, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Martha Stewart leaf punch, Frosted lace stickles.
Thanks for looking.
