Oh my, the weather we are having is terrible, someone please bring back the spring. Since the clocks went forward we've had bad weather - storms, sleet, rain, snow, hail and it's blooming freezing again!!!!!

A touch of spring

Woohooo, I can't believe it, spring is here and the fields have just turned a little greener so fingers crossed we'll have grass for the cattle soon. I'm sure they're just dying to get out of the smelly shed and run around the fields. It's really funny to watch them when they first get out, even the big fat cows run, jump and kick their back legs out. There's quite a few challenges with the theme of 'spring', and as I had to make a card for a friend I decided to play along with that theme. Crafty Catz - challenge 24 Spring Lots to Do - challenge 11 Springtime Secret Crafter Saturday challenge - challenge 75 Spring has Sprung Allsorts - challenge 44 Spring is in the air Stamp: Daisy by Elisabeth Bell available at Funky Kits Paper: DCWV The Blossoms and Butterflies stack Ink: Memento tuxedo black Accessories: Cuttlebug Square nestabilities Copics Thanks for looking

A card for my mum

I'm a terrible blogger! I really need to get more organised, but in the meanwhile, here is a Mother's day card that I made for my wonderful mum. As I played along with Sketch and Stash challenge I had to use a neglected item of stash or something new, and now I have to confess my poor neglected item is my Sugar Nellie stamp - Sweet 'n' Sassy and I don't know why I don't use her more often. As always Sketch and Stash has a wonderful sketch to follow. I also played along with Rainbow Lady's Challenge 94 - Mother's day and Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Anything goes.
