Paperminutes Challenge #24

What a wash out again today. And there's me thinking it's the middle of summer! The winter flood across the road from us is rising - nearly 4 months early. I just hope the winter is a dry one! Martin has gone back to work today after his annual fortnight holiday, and it's great to get back into my routine AND crafting. This week over on Paperminutes is this sketch I needed a 'get well card' for my nan as she is feeling a little unwell. As I can't get to see her I thought I'd send her a card instead. To be honest she just wants the envelope with the airmail sticker!!!! Stamp: Third Coast Stamps, Paciente Muerto Paper: BasicGrey, Euphoria Accessories: Versafine ink, Prima Quick picks and various other flowers, Stickles, computer printed sentiment.

Sketch Saturday

is a new challenge blog, so pop along and have a look at Sketch Saturday. If you love working from sketches or if you need some inspiration you'll love this blog. This is the first sketch. I used one of my new Sugar Nellie stamps Lola with Flowers which can be purchased from Funky Kits. I coloured her in with watercolour pencils - I really need to get better ones and a wider range of colours. The gorgeous papers are Basic Grey, Boxer and they are scrummy, I don't do them justice. The paper and brads can be bought from Sassy Crafts. The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts.

Tag You're It #9 and Tilda and Co #22

This week on Tag You're it the challenge is to make a circle tag and as I was looking through other challenge blogs I noticed Tilda and Co challenge was to make something other than a card. So this tag fits perfectly for both challenges (aren't I lucky, as I usually make one piece for each challenge)

I cut the circles on my Cricut from Chatterbox papers - Cottage collection. The stamp is sitting summer Tilda from Sassy Crafts. I coloured her in with watercolour pencils. I added a few Prima got flowers and gorgeous large dotty ribbon. For the final touch I added a few dabs of Stickles.

Thanks for looking.

ATCs

I love making ATCs but I haven't made any for a little while, only the odd one or two. I made 3 today, one for a swap on Crafty Cows forum, one is for a birthday and the last one I'm going to swap on the chain swap on Auntys forum as I haven't joined in with that for a while.
